Re: The Stadium - There may be hope afterall........
The strangest thing is it could be achieved. The furtherest seats are about the same as wembley.

At wembley they have large parts which are fully retractable as they did it when they hosted the race of champions. i am not sure if they do it for other events or not.

It needs some decent money spent doing it but it can be done.

The cost of moving it each year being 8 mill is a fucking joke. i cant believe it takes that much man power to do the job and shows that every step of the way that a lot of people are on a lot of bungs.

It's the worst stadium in England. I still can't believe we've moved there to be honest. I fucking hate it.

they can probably afford it though looking at the prices the cunts now charge for a decent seat

you need to look at the Wanda Metropolitano to see how its done properly. €240m buys you a beauty

Stadio delle Alpi - I mentioned this prior to moving and this is what it is - on acid

The renders of that Spanish job are irrelevent, they are taking it UP to 42k, the cavanous bowl is off that spectrum, it already has a world breaking roof, moving the pitch down and stands in is beyond compare

Levy cunt had the right idea, knock it down and start again, funny enough 25k short of the original idea - it was only ever meant to be a temporary vanity project

Only hope lays with the fuckers getting the pip with splashing 4x our rent on shifting the scaffold poles once a year just so a few steroid fuelled junkies can run around and throw shit

Upon current income and expenditure, the cost of being there equates to a good yoot's salary - pay the cunts for 90 years and build something suitable elsewhere otherwise

Give it back to athletics and build a proper stadium adjacent on the land by the west ham store . 45000 cap.

The lower tier isn't too bad in my experience, though it's still too far.

I have yet to see anyone eat popcorn.

However I did buy that massive hot dog yesterday. It was awful., though it's still too far.
The upper tier is awful for football. The whole tier should be sold as restricted view for £10 a ticket.
For other codes of football, Australian/American, it might be ok. But for those of us that leant on the wall at UP and wondered what the future would hold, this ground is a worst case scenario.

The only way the khazi can be turned into a football stadium is for the stands of one end and one side to be demolished and the pitch to be re-positioned and new stands built, all of which would be close to the pitch.
The cost of this would probably be north of £250 MILL so as long as the BERKS are in charge it ain't going to happen.
The real unknown quantity is what it would cost to buy the place, that's if it ever gets put up for sale.
But some of us always warned that this was going to be a catastrophe, but thousands put their blind faith in the lies that the Brady bitch spouted. More fool them, the gullible fools.

Re: The Stadium - There may be hope afterall........
No matter how the club dress it up the London Stadium maybe bigger than most but I doubt it comes close to being in the top 10 football stadiums in this country.

The best stadiums will have been designed and investment made with the spectator best interests in mind be that the whole design of the stands, hospitality, concourses or little things like padded seats reflecting this.

Whatever the reason the bare minimum has been made at the London Stadium for football fans so the results are purely what should be expected, that is a disappointment and thoughts of what could have been.

What we have is an event stadium, put on an event with all the hype and it does the job, as much as those in charge would like it to be a your average football fixture is not like a concert or an athletics event and ultimately the venue has simply not had the investment to make it suitable to be classed as top venue for football.

Brighton Hove Albion have a better ground than West Ham!

It’s time for the owners to move on, they are obviously out of their depth with the club. The league is no place for penny pinchers.

If we go down they will only need the lower tiers so they can move three sides nearer leaving the owners back out the way.

We don't know what will happen to the stadium in the future do we.
As I said "There MAY be hope"
This shows clearly that it can be done.
That is all.
